ELECTION 2018 - Electronic Security Association of Florida

Elections are underway. Voting is by electronic ballot, emailed to PVR and SVRs. Voting closes 2-1-2018.

PRESIDENT      2018 - 2020 
RICK SEYMOUR of CSI - Carpenter Security Integrators

Rick is currently the CEO of Carpenter Electric and CSI: Palm Beach. His early career with Florida Power and Light helped lay the foundation of his expertise in statistical process management and quality propelling him towards multiple successes within the Electronic Security Industry.

VICE PRESIDENT      2018 - 2019 Special Election 
CHUCK BELLISSIMO - HPI Security

Chuck Bellissimo is currently the President of Castle Ventures, Inc. a security industry consulting and licensed business brokerage firm and the owner/operator & License Holder for HPI Security, a Florida certified and licensed security & fire systems contractor. See www.HPIsecurity.com. 
Chuck's Areas of Practice include Consulting Services experienced in Security Review & (Alarm, Video & Access Control) System Design; Fire Alarm Design; Mergers and Acquisitions; Business Brokerage; Company Evaluations and Valuations; Certified Expert Witness for Civil & Criminal Cases; Operations Management Consulting; Sales and Marketing Development; System Design Plans & Specifications; Request for Proposal (RFP) Bid Specifications Written; and System Budget Estimating.

RODNEY BO of AT&T Digital Life, Inc

 

Rodney started his adventures in the Alarm business at the age of 16 and is now in his 26th consecutive year in the industry.  He is currently employed as a Licensing and Compliance Manager for AT&T Digital Life. He holds 16 state contracting/qualifying manager licenses, sits on the National ESA Education Committee, and has a hunger to serve the ESA of Florida and the industry within his state, and throughout the country.

JOSH WOLK, RED HAWK FIRE & SECURITY

Josh Wolk is a State of Florida Certified Alarm Contractor I license holder EF, NICET Certified Fire Alarm Systems. He began his career in 1991 as a helper in both installation and service of fire alarm systems at Florida State Fire Safety & First General Construction, prior to entering the US Navy to become a submarine Torpedoman's Mate on board the USS Newport News SSN-750. He transitioned into sales starting with tenant improvements-quoting and then performing the actual work quoted, and eventually growing into large systems and network systems design and sales rep.

RICH MONTALVO, SECURITY 101

Rich Montalvo is security professional with over 25 years in the electronic security industry and owner of multiple offices of Security 101. He started his entrepreneurial career in 1994 opening his company in NY after working for various security companies, he later successfully sold that company with over 100 employees and 5 branches in 2002. He relocated to South Florida and spent some time on the manufacturing side working with Honeywell before joining forces with some friends in 2005 to build Security 101. That company is now a nationally-recognized commercial systems integrator providing clients with best in class security solutions around the country. He has been featured in various trade magazines over the years, received numerous awards and continues be a student of our ever-changing industry. Rich is an avid golfer and lives in Coral Springs, FL.

CHRIS MARTIN, MILLENNIUM FIRE AND SECURITY
Specializing in fire alarm systems, Chris has over 20 years' experience designing, installing, inspecting and maintaining alarm systems, access control and camera systems. Starting out retrofitting houses in 1992, Chris was an "attic monkey" hardwiring homes for security alarm systems. Later, as his knowledge increased, he studied Code books and was trained as a municipal fire inspector in the State of Florida. At the same time, the companies he worked for were being gobbled up, one after another, by larger and larger alarm companies. Seeing how the bigger companies treated their customers, Chris set out to offer an alternative. In 1998, Chris became NICET IV certified in fire alarm systems and later obtained his Florida State Alarm Contractor I license, allowing him to install all low voltage systems. Chris periodically offers classes in fire alarm systems, surge protection and Code-compliance.

BRIAN ROBERTSON, COMCAST

Brian Robertson is the Senior Manager of Licensing and Compliance for Comcast/XFINITY Home. He oversees Licensing & Compliance in 2 regions covering 8 states and is responsible for obtaining and maintaining required licensing in 14 different states. He develops and implements all upfront legal and internal due-diligence processes as well as required licensing/regulatory guidelines, assists senior leadership with driving successful compliance and operational metrics across responsible footprint, and schedules state required training, processing and maintain licensure for over 4,000 employees.

STEVEN CHERNOFF, HONEYWELL

Working as District Manager for Honeywell Intrusion products, Steve Chernoff has supported the South Florida territory for 15 years. With past experience at ADI, he also has a strong knowledge base of various products and services within the security industry.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PLACE 2 2017 - ­2019 Special Election
DON MORRON, BRIVO

Don is an experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the security and investigations industry.  He is also a recent graduate from Florida Atlantic University with an M.B.A. focused in Management Information Systems.  His current role as Area Manager for Brivo, a cloud-based access control and video surveillance company, is to support all growth initiatives in Florida.  Prior to Brivo, Don worked for Tyco Integrated Security for a number of years.  Beyond electronic security, Don has a wide range of experience in other relative segments from legal/regulatory to physical guard forces.  In his academic career, Don learned how information technology, (e.g. IoT) is impacting business and vice versa.  Don is passionate and committed to educating the security industry on particular change agents that impact everyone from end-users to channel partners.  Don's range of work experience, education, and overall business acumen bring a unique perspective to the physical security industry.  In his free time, Don enjoys traveling and exploring with this fiancé Natalie.
